The Face of Courage

September 10, 2017 - 8:25am

From Nan: May these reflections give you hope for tomorrow!

From Fr. Ron:

So much to pray for. At the present time, storms, hurricanes, and loss of property, and most urgent the danger to human lives.

Let us pray:

Lord Jesus, Divine Mercy of the Father, as you calmed the storm on the Sea of Galilee, so calm the storms threatening your children. Some have died, Lord grant them eternal rest in your kingdom. Protect your people, and settle the disturbance. The storm on the Ocean and in the Gulf is subject to the authority of Your Father; hear our prayer, even divert the path of the storm away from populated areas, and back out to sea!

Mother Mary, Star of the Sea, pray for your children in danger because of the storms, that they be safe and use right judgment in dealing with this horrific and catastrophic event that seems to get worse every hour. Cover us in your Motherly Mantle, and allow us refuge in your Immaculate Heart.

Saint Joseph, Patron of the Family, intercede for all families affected by these hurricanes, the wind, water, and damage that accompany them, including the fears and anxieties that cause so much pain and confusion. As you protected your Family in Nazareth, intercede to your Son for us, that this protection continue in our day.

We ask this in the Name of God the Father, Jesus, His Son, and the Holy Spirit, One God, Creator of All, and giver of Life! Amen, and amen!!!
